We certainly weren't expecting the change, otherwise like you said we wouldn't have asked you are ID to open your account.
The online gaming industry is in a state of constant flux, and with the countries listed on Tom's email recently making clear statements that they feel online gaming, in it's current format is illegal, Genting, as a responsible operator has no choice but to listen to our legal advice that says we have to stop taking business from those countries.
Believe me when I say, I am not happy with the situation, its less players for us, and therefore less revenue!
However, I do believe this is a short to mid termissue rather than a long term problem. Many of the countries listed are working on creating regulated markets (like France and Italy) and the belief is that eventually many of these regulated markets will join up into one EU regulated market, certainly some of the smaller nations will have to.
However, for now, our hands are tied and as much as we'd like to take more business, we can't.
Regards
Gary
